These Terms and Conditions govern your purchase and use of digital products sold by Solofold ("we", "us", "our") through solofold.com and associated platforms. By purchasing or downloading any Solofold product, you agree to these terms.
Solofold sells digital products including spreadsheet templates, documentation files, and related digital resources. Products are delivered electronically as downloadable files immediately after payment is processed. You will receive a download link via email and/or through your Payhip account.
Each purchase grants you a single-user, non-transferable, non-exclusive license to use the product for your personal or business purposes. You may install and use the product on multiple devices that you own. You may not resell, redistribute, share, sublicense, or make the product available to others, whether for free or for payment. You may not modify the product for the purpose of reselling it as your own product.
All Solofold products, including their design, formulas, documentation, branding, and content, are the intellectual property of Solofold and are protected by UK copyright law. Your purchase grants a license to use the product, not ownership of the intellectual property.
Solofold products are bookkeeping organisation tools. They are not tax preparation software, financial advice, or a substitute for a qualified UK accountant. Tax estimates provided by our spreadsheets are based on published HMRC rates and thresholds, but individual circumstances vary. Always verify your figures with a qualified professional before filing your Self Assessment or making financial decisions. Solofold accepts no liability for tax calculations, financial decisions, or HMRC submissions based on our products.
Solofold spreadsheets are not on HMRC's list of Making Tax Digital compatible software. They do not submit returns, quarterly updates, or any data to HMRC. They are preparation tools designed to work alongside MTD-compatible software.
We make reasonable efforts to ensure our products reflect current HMRC rates, thresholds, and categories at the time of publication. Tax rules change. We are not obligated to provide free updates when rules change, though we may choose to release updated editions. The tax year and rates applicable to each product are stated clearly in the product description and within the spreadsheet itself.
Please see our Refund Policy for full details. In summary: digital downloads cannot be returned once downloaded, in accordance with the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013. We will consider refunds on a case-by-case basis if the product is materially different from its description.
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law, Solofold's total liability for any claim arising from the use of our products is limited to the amount you paid for the product. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including lost profits, tax penalties, or professional fees.
We collect and process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
